The Pioneer Fire continues to burn but more firefighters have arrived to help battle it.

Boise National Forest officials say the fire is now more than 4,974 acres and is still 32% contained.

More than 850 firefighters, 10 helicopters, 21 engines, 4 dozers, and 9 water tenders are working on the flames.

A warming trend is expected to continue into the near future and will result in more active burning conditions. As the fire spreads, it is anticipated that the smoke will continue to be seen throughout a large area including Boise.
