A Meridian man is facing felony charges and is currently being held in the Ada County Jail after he allegedly raped a 15 year old girl.
28 year old, Robert Butterfield is charged with one count of lewd conduct with a minor under 16 with other charges pending.
The Idaho Statesman reports Butterfield was arrested by Elmore County sheriff’s deputies following an investigation that began on April 12th.
Police say the victim snuck out of her home at night to attend a party at Butterfield’s house where alcohol was available. Butterfield allegedly raped the girl at the party.
Butterfield’s next hearing is June 3.
