The man who police say killed a Firebird Raceway employee earlier this month was back in court.
Prosecutors on Wednesday filed new charges against Tyler Martinez, who allegedly hit Joel Eggers with his car in Boise.
Martinez was originally charged with a probation violation right after the deadly crash.
That probation violation is related to a burglary case where Martinez could face up to five years in prison if convicted.
The attorney for Martinez was given more time to review the new charges and they’ll be back in court April 27.
