I went into Sunday rooting for Denver and Phoenix to make the Super Bowl. I guess one out of two isn’t bad. Happy for former Boise State Bronco Matt Paradis in making the big game. He joins a long list of Broncos who have played in the Super Bowl.
Marcus Koch, Rolly Woolsey, Daryn Colledge, Corey Hall, Jeron Johnson, Quinten Mikell, Kimo Von Olhoffen, and others have played in the final game of the season.
Paradis and his Denver Broncos now must face the mighty Carolina Panthers and all everything quarterback Cam Newton. Carolina looked unbeatable in smashing the Phoenix Cardinals 49-15. Phoenix helped them along with seven turnovers.
It is true that Denver has a much better defense than Phoenix, and it is hard to imagine the Broncos turning the ball over that many times. Once again I will be cheering for the underdog in the final game of the season. As for Paradis, he will likely go down in history as the final center for one of the best quarterbacks in the history of football.
