A man has been sentenced for his role in the beating death of a Nampa man in 2014.
Raul Herrera broke down in tears in court today (Wednesday) when he was sentenced to life in prison, but he will eligible for parole after 35 years.
The Idaho Press-Tribune reports, Herrera and his co-defendant, Angelo Cervantes fatally beat Jeffrey Dyer over $700 dollars in drug debt and for being disrespectful.
Dyer’s father appeared in court and told Herrera “you wouldn’t know what disrespectful was if it was staring you in the face.”
