The best thing happened to me over the weekend. I held a lion. Yes, a real life lion. Of course, it was just a cub but it was still a lion. My boyfriend and his friend went to the Western Idaho Fair with me. We decided to walk around for a bit and get some churros before going to a booth called "A Walk On The Wild Side". I knew that the booth was there and that was the only reason we went to the fair, to hold the lion. It was pretty spendy; $30 for three people, but we figured it was a once in a lifetime opportunity. The family in front of us was holding the skunk and getting their picture with it. The skunk was on $10 to hold. There was also other animals like a wallaby. Anyway, when they left the guy walked up to us and said what would you like to hold. We said the lion and said great. We immediately sat down on the bench and couldn't wait for him to hand it over. The lion was so cute. Her name was Nakita. She was 8 weeks old and super fluffy. The group that brought her was a rescue center that takes care of all kinds of animals. After snapping our picture the guy let us play with her for a bit. She nuzzled my face which made me so happy. Probably the best experience ever!
