My mom's neighbor is an elderly woman with a big love for her garden. When I went to visit my mom on Saturday I found that her neighbor hasn't touched her garden. There were weeds coming out from certain areas and some of the plants were drooping. I asked my mom what was going on and found out something amazing.
Our neighbor's garden is currently home to a mama duck. She has made a nest right in the middle of the garden and has 8 eggs gathered inside it. The nest lies under a huge tree, completely shaded.
My brother and I were real interested in seeing it and since my mom and her neighbor feed the duck we decided to go take a look.
The funniest image you could ever see was my 6 foot 4 inch brother running across the black, hot street barefoot while carrying me on his back.
In the end we got to see the cute duck and now we're just waiting for the call from our neighbor that the babies have been born. So excited!
