Wednesday logistics
Doors to the Caven-Williams Sports Complex will open at noon on Wednesday. Though as local media has reported, the president is expected to speak around 2:45 p.m., all ticketed guests are urged to arrive by noon to allow time for security. Tickets will be required for entry. Security considerations For security reasons, please do not bring bags and limit personal items. No signs or banners are permitted. All attendees will go through airport-like security. No overnight camping will be allowed on the premises at any time leading up to this event. The Boise Greenbelt from Theater Lane to Broadway Bridge on the south side of the Boise River will be closed Wednesday from 12:30 p.m. until the end of the event. This includes pedestrian and bicycle traffic. Pedestrians and cyclists will be able to cross back and forth on both Broadway and the Friendship Bridge.
Parking Information
Boise State University classes will remain in session, limiting event parking on campus. Patrons are encouraged to arrive prior to on Jan. 21 to provide ample time for parking and getting to event location. Public parking is available and encouraged in downtown public garages. Street Restrictions Euclid Avenue and Manitou Avenue, between Beacon Street and University Drive, will be closed to all street parking starting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 20, and remain closed until 6 p.m. Jan. 21. Belmont Street, between Manitou Avenue and Grant Avenue, will be closed to all street parking starting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 20, and remain closed until 6 p.m. Jan. 21. Cesar Chaves Lane will be closed for security operations starting at 11:59 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 20, and remain closed until 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21. Parking on University Drive will be prohibited Jan. 21, 2015. Violators are subject to citation and towing of their vehicle at the owner's expense.
Boise State Shuttle
A free, wheelchair accessible shuttle will be available from the Lincoln Avenue Garage (LG) starting at 11:30 a.m. Jan. 21 to transport ticketed event patrons with accessible needs. A free shuttle stops at West Broad Street and South 8th Street on its downtown route and will be available to pick up ticketed event patrons for transport to Boise State University.
Limited Event Parking, Lots and Garages
All event parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Parking will be restricted in the Stadium lots. Minimal West Stadium parking spaces will be open to accessible (**see restrictions below) ticketed event patrons beginning at 8 a.m. Jan. 21. Lincoln Garage will open for ticketed event patrons beginning at 8 a.m. Jan. 21 and will be extremely limited. Hourly parking will be unavailable on Jan. 21 in the Lincoln Garage. Brady Garage will be available for limited hourly parking, overflow ticketed event patrons, and Brady Garage permit holders on Jan. 21.
**Accessible parking restrictions: The vehicle must display an ADA license plate or placard, and the placard/license plate registrant must be an occupant in the vehicle. All accessible parking is on a first-come, first-served basis. Downtown public garages Attendees are encouraged to park and pay in downtown public parking garages and walk to the Boise State University campus. Residential Street Parking
Boise State discourages parking on residential side streets. For those who choose to park on city streets, remember that vehicles are not allowed to park along University Drive on Jan. 21. For city parking rules, visit:

Relocated Vehicles on Campus Vehicles that have been relocated for any reason (e.g. not displaying proper permit, parked in incorrect location, or abandonment, etc.), will be relocated to the Grant/Beacon dirt lot, located at the corner of Grant Avenue and Beacon Street.
