The search is on for a man allegedly robbed another person with a handgun.
Meridian Police say the suspect contacted the victim through Facebook about purchasing a cellphone for $200 dollars.
The two met at an Applebee's on Eagle Road, and that's when the suspect allegedly showed a handgun, handed $100 dollars to the victim and took off with the phone.
The suspect is described as a hispanic man, about 5-foot-8, 300 pounds, leaving in a red Ford Focus with California plates.
Anyone with information should call police.
