The City of Boise has settled a dispute with Boise Police Officer, Kirk Rush.
Rush sought damages for alleged misconduct of former Police Chief Ryan Lee relating to an October 2021 training incident.
After significant litigation, the parties participated in court-ordered mediation.
During mediation, Intact, the city’s insurance provider in this matter, exercised its rights under the policy, and settled the case for $850,000.
