Idaho State Police is investigating a vehicle vs pedestrian crash that occurred at 10:19 p.m. on Tuesday October 1, 2024, in Fruitland.
A 43-year-old male from Payette, was traveling eastbound on Northwest 16th St, in Fruitland, in a Silver, 2007 Chevrolet Uplander.
The vehicle struck a 59-year-old male from Boise, who was walking in the lane of travel.
The pedestrian was transported by air ambulance to a local hospital and died at the hospital on Wednesday, October 2.
The Ada County Coroner’s Office will release the decedent’s identity and determine the cause and manner of death.
This incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
