Boise City Council members holding town halls

Boise City Council members are inviting the community to a series of town halls over the next two weeks.

A city of Boise news release stated that attendees will be able to engage with the council member representing their district “in a conversational format” and discuss “the issues most important to them.”

The Idaho Press reports Kathy Corless (District 3) is holding her town hall at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18 at the Library! At Hillcrest, on W. Overland Road.

Colin Nash (District 2) and Luci Willits (District 1) are holding a joint town hall at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24 at the Fire Training Center, on Joplin Road.

And Meredith Stead (District 5) is hosting a joint town hall with Jordan Morales (District 4) at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25 at the Library! At Bown Crossing, on E. Riverwalk Drive.

“I believe in government transparency and active involvement with our community. Together, we can shape a Boise we’re proud to call home,” Corless said. “I want to hear directly from the residents on what they believe is working and what we can do to build a stronger city for generations to come.”
