More real estate surrounding the historic Union Block building in downtown Boise is closed to the public.
BoiseDev.com reports, the Ada County Highway District put out an alert on Saturday evening closing a portion of the alleyway directly behind the building between Idaho and Bannock streets.
The news alert announcing the closure said it was requested by the City of Boise as a precaution due to concerns over the “structural integrity” of the alleyway.
The Ada County Highway District’s social media post read, “There is not a known end date to the closure at this time…ACHD will continue to coordinate with the City of Boise and updates will be provided as new information becomes available.”
