During a news conference early Tuesday afternoon, Boise Police Chief Ron Winegar reported the body of a missing boy was found.
5 year-old Matthew Glynn reportedly walked away from his home around 5:45pm on Monday near State Street and Alamosa.
Numerous groups and agencies searched throughout the night looking for Matthew.
CBS 2 reports, Chief Winegar said members of Idaho Mountain Search and Rescue and a Boise Police officer found Matthews body in a canal, about a half mile from his home.
He said there’s currently no further information, but the investigation is ongoing.
