Boise man, two women arrested after homicide investigation

Following up on a story from last Wednesday, as we now have more information about what led up to a fatal shooting…and the arrest of three people.

It was around 11pm last Wednesday when Boise Police responded to a local hospital after a victim – Robert Nichols – arrived with a gunshot wound and later passed away from his injuries.

Detectives immediately began an investigation and evidence led detectives to W. Emerald Street.

Three suspects at that location were taken into custody and booked into the Ada County Jail.

Police tell CBS 2 News, evidence shows the suspect, Zachary Gordan, got into a verbal dispute with the victim on Wednesday which led to the shooting and the victim being dropped off at the hospital.

Two additional suspects, Brianna Lopez, and Mindy Kraus were also arrested for their suspected role and booked into the Ada County Jail.
