Air quality remains unhealthy for all groups as of today (Tuesday).
The air quality index currently sits between 120 and 140 AQI, which is unhealthy for people with sensitive breathing issues.
Idaho’s largest fire and the second largest fire in the country, the Moose Fire, is measured at about 130,000 acres while being 37% contained.
The Ross Fork Fire has burned 37,000 acres and is 13% contained.
The Four Corners Fire has burned nearly 14,000 acres but is 96% contained.
According to Payette National Forest, the Rainbow Fire that has been burning on Brundage Mountain is contained at less than 5 acres.
There are currently 34 active wildfires in Idaho that have burned a total of 248,456 acres this year.
