The fire season has begun, as hot and dry weather has created conditions just right for a big wildfire.
The National Weather Service issued red flag warnings for portions of South and Central Oregon on both Tuesday and Wednesday with a good chance of seeing more of the same into the weekend.
The Oregon Department of Forestry is now asking all campers to make absolutely sure any campfires are completely out, to monitor debris piles and to properly dispose of cigarettes.
The National Interagency Fire Center is also monitoring the Red Flag conditions in Oregon which stretch all the way into California.
Temperatures here in Idaho are expected to remain hot and dry thru Sunday with temps continuing to reach the 100’s.
