Idaho gas prices are still on the rise, with Monday’s average at a record-high for the state.
Monday’s average price for regular gas is at $4.44, AAA says, which is an increase of four cents since last week.
Matthew Conde with AAA Idaho explains that as long as we hover near $100 per barrel for crude, we’re not likely to see much relief at the pump.
He expects gas prices to teeter-totter back and forth over the next few weeks, but if crude oil is still expensive in the run-up to Memorial Day, rising fuel demand could push the price of fill-ups even higher.
