Cold conditions are moving in and multiple weather advisories and warnings are still in place following an upper-level trough that has pushed into the region. This is expected to bring cold overnight lows that will bring scattered snow showers to our mountains and valleys. Expect some snow and snow showers throughout the Treasure and Magic Valleys with accumulations of an inch or less, meanwhile, winds will be cold and gusty out of the northwest. Highs will stay in the low to mid 30’s and lows will be in the upper 20’s throughout the holiday weekend.

Advisories say mountains could see 5-10″ inches of snow with the Valleys seeing maybe an inch overnight tonight. Winds will also be generated and we could see gusts up to 50 mph expected across Owyhee and southern Twin Falls county. A snow band will be extending from Malheur county to Owyhee county and the Magic Valley.

Mountains will be in the 20s to 30s over the next few days with temps sinking into the teens as we approach your work week!
