We are down to the final days of the great Idaho Food Drive.
The goal is simple: to collect as much food and money as possible for the Idaho Foodbank.
About 11 percent of people in Idaho worry about their next meal. Statewide, that represents about 200,000 people including almost 60,000 children.
The Idaho Foodbank spends all year collecting and distributing food to those in need.
CBS2 and 670 KBOI have teamed up with Les Schwab, Homie and TDS Fiber for this year’s food drive. The collection effort wraps up this Friday. You can donate canned food, fruits, vegetables, peanut butter, whole grain flour and meat at any Les Schwab.
