Boise State plays at Colorado State in a Mountain West Mountain Division game on Saturday.

THE SERIES
Boise State is a perfect 10-0 against Colorado State all-time, including five victories in Fort Collins. The Broncos’ first win over the Rams came in Boise State’s first conference game as a member of the Mountain West, a 63-13 drubbing in Fort Collins, Colo., Oct. 15, 2011.

THE GAME
The Boise State football team, coming off its lone open week of the 2021 season, will hit the road to square off against Colorado State, Saturday (Oct. 30). The Broncos and Rams are slated to kick at 5 p.m. at Canvas Stadium in Fort Collins, Colo., and the game will be nationally televised by CBS Sports Network.

OFF AN OPEN WEEK
The Broncos are 13-1 in games after a scheduled open week since joining the Mountain West in 2011, the only loss coming to New Mexico in 2015 (Nov. 14; 31-24). Boise State played seven-straight games to open the 2021 season, the longest stretch without a scheduled open week (in a non-COVID year) since 2015, when the Broncos played nine straight before an off week.

SUCCESS ON THE ROAD
Boise State has won 12-consecutive conference road games, dating back to a Nov. 25, 2017 loss to Fresno State (28-17).

SECOND-HALF DEFENSE
Boise State’s defense is one of only five nationally to not allow a touchdown in the second half or overtime in four games this season (West Virginia, Iowa, Air Force and San Jose State). Toledo is the lone defense to not allow a touchdown in the second half or overtime in five games this season.
