The West Ada school district is extending its mask mandate once again.
The previous mandate was set to expire on Friday (Oct. 8th) – but it will stay in place for the time being.
School leaders did not say how long the mask mandate could be put in place but a special board Covid-19 meeting will be held on Wednesday.
Earlier this year, the district had allowed parents to opt-out of the mask mandate, but due to rising case numbers in the community, it suspended those parent-submitted forms.
CBS 2 News reports, the meeting on Wednesday will give parents and others an opportunity to hear guidelines at the school district moving forward.
