Saint Alphonsus Medical Group’s 11 Urgent Care Clinics will close their doors to patients an hour earlier starting Wednesday. The change in hours is due to overwhelming increase in volumes of COVID-related and non-COVID medical care. The clinics will be closing an hour earlier than normal to allow for providers and staff to care for patients who arrive up to closing time.
“During this unprecedented time, this is a temporary move designed to allow us to continue seeing the greatest number of patients while providing some relief to our dedicated colleagues and allow them to sustain this vital work, and be able to come back the next day to provide patient care,” said Dr. Daniel Bridger, SAMG Urgent Care Medical Director.
While hours at the Urgent Care clinics will be reduced, Saint Alphonsus’ online Urgent Care service, MyeVisit, will continue to operate from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm, seven days a week. MyeVisit is a convenient and affordable way to see a provider and get an assessment for many common medical conditions. No appointment is necessary, and visits are conducted on private, secure video links. Visit www.myevisit.org to access the online service.
