ACHD invites public input on budget and future plans

The Ada County Highway District is inviting residents to get a first glimpse at the agency’s 2022-2026 Integrated Five Year Work Plan (IFYWP) and learn about the draft 2022 budget at a public meeting Thursday,( July 15th).

The draft 2022 budget, an estimated $155M spending plan, includes projects to increase safety and mobility and provides funding for necessary maintenance and operation of Ada County roads, sidewalks, traffic signals, bike lanes and related infrastructure.

ACHD says this is a opportunity for the public to provide feedback on what improvements are proposed in their neighborhood or on their commute.

District staff will be available to answer questions from the public on related planning efforts, future projects, and the proposed budget.

The meeting will be open to the public both in-person at the ACHD headquarters and virtually via Zoom, beginning at 5:30pm Thursday.
