July and August are the region’s hottest months of the year and we’re definitely feeling the heat.
An extreme heat warning is currently in effect again for South Western Idaho, with 105 expected on Saturday and 106 on Sunday in the Boise area.
You can also expect more smoke.
CBS 2 News reports, the Bootleg fire in southern Oregon has grown to nearly 40,000 acres. This fire, along with other fires in northern California, will be the primary source of smoke for our region.
