The Nampa School District Board of Trustees passed a motion Tuesday to go to remote learning until Jan. 13.
After the Thanksgiving break, Nampa Schools will move to remote instruction through Jan. 13.
CBS 2 reports teachers will report on Jan. 4, students will report virtually on Jan. 5.
The board will have a meeting around that time to discuss a hybrid learning model, which could start as early as Jan. 14.
The move comes as cases surge throughout the state. Idaho has recorded over a thousand new cases daily for the past week.
