The Meridian Library District will host the Senior Health and Wellness Fair from 12:30-3:30 p.m. Nov. 2nd at the Cherry Lane branch in Meridian.
The fair is free to attend and is designed to educate and provide services to the senior citizen population, their caregivers and their loved ones.
The Meridian Press reports, experts and local organizations will answer questions about finance, legal, leisure, care and services geared toward those 55 and older.
There will be a yoga class, technology help, a brown bag medicine review by a doctor or pharmacist, booths and presentations.
Free health screenings, flu shots and glucose testing are available upon presentation of your Medicare or insurance ID card.
