It’s been a short but sweet float season for the Boise River.
Crowds are lining up at Barber Park, waiting to take advantage of the second to last Sunday of float season 2017.
KBOI 2 TV confirms the extremely late start to the 2017 float season will likely not make up for the amount of revenue lost this summer.
Connie Zeller, the owner of Boise River Raft & Tube, says extending the season is out of the question, since people will be busier with school and football.
The good news is the river will be open through Labor Day so if you haven’t gotten a float in yet, you have one more week.
