A Washington man was arrested and booked into the Canyon County Jail on suspicion of sexual exploitation of a child after Boise police located over 2,000 images of suspected child pornography on his phone.
Jorrell Williams was booked into the Canyon County jail and has a $500,000 bond.
The Boise Police Department began an investigation in March to identify people using “peer-to-peer software” on the internet who get and traffic sexually exploitative material.
The Idaho Press Tribune reports Williams had sexual exploitative material involving small children as young as 1 to 2 years old and over 2,000 images of suspected child pornography.
He faces charges of five counts of felony sexual exploitation of a child and his next court appearance is Aug. 18th.
