This weekend, my parents will be staying at the Worthington home and taking care of the girls while my wife and I take my son to Seattle to see a specialist. Our doctor at St. Luke’s says the doctor in Seattle is the WORLD AUTHORITY in this field. We know the diagnosis won’t change, but after our appointment the specialist can discuss treatment with our doctors here in Boise. Collaboration is good, we feel.
By the way, the folks at St. Luke’s Children’s here in Boise are fantastic. Everyone has been so incredibly nice to us. It’s hard to say a single negative thing about the nurses and staff who continue to handle our case with the greatest of care. Believe me when I say we have spent LOTS of days and night’s at St. Luke’s in 2017.
