An Elmore County deputy is recovering from multiple stab wounds today, after dispatchers say a man attacked the deputy at a mobile home park in Mountain Home.
KBOI-2-TV reports, it happened just before Midnight.
The deputy was responding to a call, claiming there was a man with a gun at the park. When the deputy confronted the man, deputies say he attacked him with a knife, stabbing him multiple times.
In defense, the deputy and other law enforcement officers shot the suspect, killing him.
The hurt deputy was taken to the hospital, with non-life threatening wounds.
