Rocky Mountain High School is mourning the loss of one of it’s own.
Kathryn Marshall, a varsity softball player for the Grizzlies, passed away suddenly last week.
Last night, the school held a vigil at the softball field. Her Coach Brian White told KBOI-2-TV, the team will be playing for Kate when they head to Coeur d’Alene to compete in the state tournament.
Marshall was admitted to the hospital with an unknown illness, and died last Friday afternoon.
The school store has also started selling wristbands in remembrance of Marshall, for one dollar. All proceeds go directly to the Marshall family.
