A Lapwai man has been sentenced to 24 years in prison for the death of another man on the Nez Perce Reservation in 2013.
Raymond Scott Jr. pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and was sentenced in federal court on Tuesday.
KBOI-2-TV reports a federal court judge also ordered Scott to serve five years of supervised release and pay a $250,000 fine.
Scott admitted to striking William Reich on the head with a weapon.
