(How To Be A) Millionaire?

I spend money around the holidays and then I think to myself, maybe I can save some of my money and spend it on more gifts (or more towards students loans) in a few months, but something always pops up. This time it was a bridal shower gift I had to find, a “get well soon” gift for a family friend in the hospital and then photo collages for walls in our home, which are bare.

You see, we have lived in our home for over 1 year now, but because we spent so much money on a washer and dryer, a fridge, bed, couches, TV, and grass for the yard, we didn’t have any leftover for decorating. We still need to get our room re-done and paint the outside of the home, the current color is disgusting. So, I figured why not put some photos on the wall and make it look a little more alive in the home.

Anyway, saving money is a lot tougher than I thought it would be. Maybe next time I’ll just shove a $20 bill in an envelope and call it a gift, but I always find gifts like that not very heartfelt.
