I am a lucky man. I have four great kids and loving wife. During the holidays, we have several traditions we try to enjoy as a family. Some of those activities you probably also enjoy, like putting up lights on the house or decorating the tree. We also have some strange things that are unique to our household, such as the yearly “let’s skip sending out Christmas Cards again this year.” My boys also enjoy searching the house high and low for any signs of presents that have yet to be wrapped. In any case, I hope you enjoy making your own memories, and that you are as blessed as I am.
Thoughts on Boise State Football:
- While many of my football friends were pleased with this year’s Boise State team, I could not help but be a little disappointed. The record was great, but I felt like it took the coaches too long to figure out they were a “Run First” team. I also did not see the improvement at Quarterback I expected. My biggest issue though, was the lack of NASTY on defense. They could not get turnovers, and did not get to the QB nearly enough for my satisfaction.
- I really hope Bryan Harsin stays at Boise State. While I think he can improve as a head coach, I also believe he is the right guy for the job.
More Randomness:
I really hate that shoes cost so much. My oldest son is now playing High School Basketball and I recently went to buy him a pair of shoes for the season. When he showed me the kicks he wanted I threw up in my mouth a little bit.
What is the nice way to tell your friend the Denver Broncos are not nearly as good as he (the friend) thinks they are? Now substitute Denver Broncos for the following teams: Detroit Lions, Atlanta Falcons, Seattle Seahawks and the entire AFC South.
Carrie Fisher says she and Harrison Ford had an affair in 1976. You see, I WAS Han Solo between the age of 4 and 10, and had a big crush on Princess Leia. I salute you Harrison Ford. I cried real tears when they smoked you in the last Star Wars Movie.
