Animals And Heat

I’m a huge animal lover, in case you didn’t know yet. I have a Chihuahua and a hermit crab. I’ve had lots of animals throughout my life and it kills me to read about the poor dogs that are dying while being left in cars. It’s 101 outside, cracking the windows and leaving a bowl of water isn’t going to do much. If you can, please leave your dog at home.

Also, if you like to take your dog for walks (like me) try doing it at night time. It’s cooler out and the dogs won’t burn their paws on the hot concrete. If that doesn’t work for you, try letting them run around at a park or in the backyard. I promise the grass is a lot cooler than the concrete.
