I’m a Browns fan. I don’t just like the Browns, I hope and cheer for their success every Sunday. Every Sunday, they break my heart.
I’m a fan of refugees. I’m a fan of our country’s role in the world. I love that when people wake up around the world, their goal is get here and succeed for the betterment of themselves and their families.
Refugees should be screened. The U.S. should be in control of the scope and depth of the investigation. The U.S. should set (without pressure or influence from other countries) who, where and how many are approved.
I try not to tilt at the “banning of Muslim refugees” argument, because it violates who we are as a country.
Perhaps we should outright ban further intake from countries where terrorism has taken hold.
I’m getting tired of us getting our heart broken.
