Idaho gas prices are down 50 cents compared to a year ago.
AAA Idaho says a gallon of regular unleaded costs an average of $3.05 per gallon.
This time last year, it was $3.55 per gallon.
The average price of regular unleaded is down almost a quarter from a month ago.
In Ada County, the average price per gallon is $2.92.
Drivers in Canyon County are paying $3.01 per gallon.
Nationwide, the average is $3.03 per gallon which is down 20 cents from a year ago.
AAA Idaho public affairs director Matthew Conde says, “we’ve enjoyed significant savings from a year ago, and that trend is likely to continue as we move into a bit of a lull after a record number of Thanksgiving travelers.”
