A third Idaho school superintendent has broken into the $200,000 club, a first in state history.
IDedNews.org reports the list of superintendent salaries for this year was made available by the State Board of Education and West Ada’s leader Derek Bub is again on the top with an annual salary of $222,064, which is about $7,000 more than last year.
The Boise School District’s first-year superintendent Lisa Roberts is the next highest paid leader with an annual salary of $210,978, followed by Becky Meyer, superintendent at Lake Pend Oreille School District, who makes $208,242, which is a big increase from last year when she making $183,200.
Not only is their pay different, so are their numbers of annual work days.
Bub is on a 230-day contract, Myer is contracted to work 260, and Roberts is at 244 days.
