Boise Police have arrested a business owner after finding large amounts of drug paraphernalia in the suspect’s store.
CBS2 reports Boise Police arrested 49-year-old Paramjit Singh of Chico, California, after Police began investigating the business on Capitol Boulevard for selling alcohol to minors.
During the investigation, Police found a large amount of drug paraphernalia sold at the store.
Police provided multiple warnings and education about the laws for selling alcohol and drug paraphernalia to Singh, but ultimately had to arrest Singh for failing to bring the business into compliance with state law.
Singh was arrested for felony controlled substance with intent to deliver, two counts of felony controlled substance-deliver, possess or manufacture with intent to deliver, drug paraphernalia, felony controlled substance (conspiracy) to deliver, and felony criminal conspiracy.
Other charges are pending from the sale of alcohol to minors along with fines and suspensions of both the Boise City Alcohol License and the Idaho State Alcohol License.
