Halloween Trunk or Treat events

Halloween is almost one week away, but in the meantime, plenty of trunk-or-treat events are happening throughout Idaho.

According to CBS2, the community is invited to attend the 10th Annual Trunk or Treat at Meridian City Hall on Oct. 24 from 6-9 p.m. Come in costume and visit with over 90 businesses and organizations offering free candy. Attendance is free.

You may also donate $1 per child or one food item to support the Meridian Food Bank Backpack Program. Look for their booth, drop dry goods into the donation barrels or click below to donate.

Join the Garden City Police Department on Oct. 25 from 5-7 p.m. for Trunk or Treat at the Riverside Hotel. The department will have candy, spooky decorations, games and K9 Kano.

The Salvation Army is hosting Trunk or Treat in Boise on Oct. 26 from 6-8 p.m. at 9492 W. Emerald St. This will be a safe and family-friendly event with food trucks, coffee carts and candy.

The Salvation Army will also take donations of canned goods to support their food pantry.

Those interested in helping others in need may bring canned food items to the Eagle Food Bank donation bins inside Eagle City Hall and the Community Hall.
