The Caldwell Wagons Ho! event is free and taking place on October 5.
The experience involves bringing in a wagon and supplies to teach children about Idaho history by doing hands-on activities like leather stamping and horseshoe branding.
Wagons Ho started with a restored wagon that includes three-decades of “dust and rust” collection of tools and cooking equipment-giving insight to how the Pioneers lived.
The Friends of the Caldwell Train Depot will be hosting this free family fun event on Saturday, October 5, at the Caldwell Train Depot (701 main Street) from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Caldwell Housing Authority will provide free hot dogs, and the Train Depot Museum will be open to the public.
Additionally, there will be multiple fun activities for pre-school to elementary school age children.
