St. Luke’s FitOne walk, jog, stroll and run Saturday

More than 12,000 participants, ranging from elite athletes to multigenerational family teams, will walk, jog, stroll and run through the streets of Boise on Saturday, Sept. 21, for St. Luke’s FitOne.

With course distances of 5K, 10K and a half marathon, the annual FitOne event aims to inspire participants to lead a healthier lifestyle, enjoy being active and engage with their community.

The event raises funds for St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital and other local programs dedicated to enhancing the health of children in Idaho.

The courses start near the Idaho State Capitol at the downtown Boise intersection of Capitol Blvd. and Bannock St. and end at Ann Morrison Park with a Finish Festival.

The St. Luke’s FitOne half marathon is the first to kick off Saturday’s event at 7:15 a.m.
