Arkansas prisoner exploited Idaho child

U.S. Attorney Josh Hurwit announced that a federal grand jury in Coeur d’Alene returned an indictment charging a federal inmate housed in Arkansas, with Sexual Exploitation of a Child.

According to court records, Hamza Nijmeh was convicted of Distribution of Child Pornography and Receipt of Child Pornography in May 2017.

It is alleged in the indictment that between August 2023 and October 2023, while in federal prison in Arkansas, Nijmeh used multiple cellular phones to sexually exploit a child in the District of Idaho.

If convicted, Nijmeh faces a minimum of 25 and a maximum of 50 years in federal prison for Sexual Exploitation of a Child.
