The Boise Fire Department tackled a haystack and grass blaze on South Cole Road on Wednesday at Jordan’s Garden Center.
According to CBS2 Boise Fire said crews responded to a reported vegetation fire at a business on South Cole Road Wednesday night around 5:30 p.m.
Crews found active fire and heavy smoke from a haystack, a small covering over an animal enclosure and grass along the canal.
Crews quickly extinguished the fire but remained for several hours for an extensive mop-up of the hay to ensure it would not reignite.
There were no injuries to civilians, firefighters, or animals, and no damage to any structures.
The cause of the fire was undetermined.
