The City of Caldwell says it will celebrate Olympic boxer Alyssa Mendoza with a homecoming parade and reception at Indian Creek Steakhouse on Aug. 16 at noon, on Main Street.
CBS2 reports the parade will begin at Fire Station 1, turn on South 5th Avenue in front of the Caldwell Police Station, then turn on Main Street and end at Indian Creek Steakhouse.
A reception will be held for Alyssa at the steakhouse, including a meet and greet and a special presentation from Mayor Wagoner.
Mendoza became the first female Olympic boxer in Idaho history and won by a split decision of 3-2.
