Swedish furniture, home goods, and meatball retailer IKEA is adding a presence in Idaho — but it’s not one of its massive stores just yet.
BoiseDev.com reports, the company announced that it will now offer delivery from its Draper, Utah store direct to homes in the Treasure Valley, or to a pickup point…located off Emerald Street near Five mile.
IKEA has not indicated any plans to add a formal store location in the Boise area, but as BoiseDev reported in 2023, a store location in the Treasure Valley isn’t impossible, but local commercial real estate experts say a number of factors would need to line up, including population size, available land, and type of project.
For now, delivery prices vary depending on what you might buy online but are as low as $19. The pick-up option starts at $10.
