Add the Emmett School District to the list of other districts in the state, moving to a 4-day school week.
KIVI-TV reports, starting this month (Aug) as students return to school…students of Emmett schools will only be in class Mondays through Thursdays.
But with one less school day, days wills actually be longer Monday through Thursdays.
District Superintendent Craig Woods says secondary schools will start at 7:40 rather than 7:45…and elementary classes will start 20 minutes earlier than last school year.
And Woods says release times will also change slightly.
And the district will be using the “BusRight” app, which allows parents to see when and where their child’s bus will be picking them up and dropping them off.
