It’s not unusual for Boise to be quite hot during July…it’s the hottest month on average each year.
For this year, Boise saw the third hottest July on record…with an average temperature, calculated by averaging daily highs and lows, of 82.8 degrees.
And the temperature reached or exceeded 99 degrees for 17 consecutive days, smashing the previous record of 12 days in 2021.
The Idaho Press reports, during July, Boise had nine non-consecutive days with temps at or above 105 degrees…passing the record of five days, set back in 1898.
