You may have noticed the water running thru canals around the Boise area…
Nampa-Meridian irrigation district started releasing water into the canals earlier this week.
Crews are working on testing lines, flushing the system and bringing ditch pumps online. The crews are making sure that everything is functioning properly as they work to bring the system to full operation.
CBS 2 News reports, the Pioneer Irrigation District and Boise – Kuna Irrigation District should have water around Monday depending on the amount of maintenance that needs to be done to the system. All customers should expect to have full pressure irrigation by April 28th.
